Welcome to the Systemic Pathology II (VET 3223) which is designed to teach students the concepts of animal diseases using an organ system approach. The module is normally taught semester two of the year 3 but due to the COVID-19 effect on opening school, it will be delivered in Trimester 3.
The module begins with the study of diseases specific to different body systems. Systems covered in Systemic Pathology I include alimentary, musculo-skeletal, excretory, integumentary, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, circulatory, CNS and respiratory systems.The module has 15 credits taught in three units. Unit 1 covers the Circulatory, Urinary and Respiratory systems. Unit 2 Endocrine, Reproductive and Integumentary systems. And unit 3 covers CNS, Alimentary and the Musculo-skeletal systems
