Systematics and Economic Botany provides solid foundations in plant groups and how these differ from one another. It builds on biological knowledge and skills to identify and classify flowering plants into taxonomic groups through a series of field and laboratory investigations. Moreover, this module focuses on perspectives and strategies of learning and teaching ecologically and economically important flora and crops found in Rwanda and in the region.
This module aims to introduce you to quantitative methods applied to Biology and Health Sciences. The content mainly includes data analysis and presentation, uni- and multivariate analysis, hypothesis formulation, testing and validation. In addition, you will be exposed to learning and teaching strategies as well as interpretation of statistical results from Biology case studies
