Course image EPE4164 Modelling and Analysis of Power Systems
Semester I

The aim of this module is to give a detailed overview of the field of power systems analyses and modelling. Power system modelling consists of a computer rendition of the electric grid, detailing each part’s characteristics. Power system engineers work tirelessly to accurately incorporate into the model not only the various devices but also their working specifications. The details of the components could include capacities, start-up time, impedance, power ratings, among others. Once the model has been designed, then it is possible to analyze what is happening or might happen in the real grid. Models of power system components such as transmission lines, transformers, static loads and synchronous generators are described in power system analysis.

(Note: This Module was Done in Trimester -1 in the year 2019/2020)

Course image ETE 4165 CRYPTOGRAPHY AND NETWORK SECURITY
Semester I

Cryptography is an important tool for allowing secure delivery and protection of information in a computer network. This module will give the general inner working of cryptographic systems and how to correctly use them in real-world applications towards the secured exchange of information over the Network.  The security issue is involved for emphasizing on Notion of information trust. This can normally be done by identifying Network weaknesses, Possible the types of attacks against each of weaknesses, risk analysis, ethics issues, measures and protection mechanisms of cryptographic techniques.

Course image EPE4163 Electrical Service Design
