One of the most intriguing subjects of study is that of children and their development. The study of child development is not only exciting but very important too. As a parent, teacher, or any educator, growing children become our concern. The study of children’s development is therefore essential for everyone.
This module aims to give you knowledge of Rwanda, its natural and human environment, together with its socio-economic aspects and history. This course will cover: Geographical location of Rwanda, natural environment (rocks, landscapes, climate, soil, flora and fauna), human environment (population, settlement and urbanization), present and past socio-economic activities (evolution of sectors of activities, rural and urban development, transport, current issues in the economic development). The module also deals with civics and governance of Rwanda, as well as hygiene and sanitation.
This module aims at promoting civic competences and democratic character necessary for students to actively engage themselves in public life. It also intends to equip students with the basic skills to help them to live together in the community and environment in sustainable way.
The module intends to engage students in a more understanding of the concept of sets and constructing set of integers, real and complex numbers. It also introduces to students the concept of multi-base arithmetic. After completion of the module, the student teachers will be able to teach similar topics in TTCs as well as any other secondary school.
This module introduces students to various methods and approaches used in Teaching especially in Primary school.
