Before starting any work in the lab, personnel should be familiar with the procedures and equipment being used. Lab personnel should be aware of the chemical hazards before working with them. Personnel who are unfamiliar with the hazardous material or a new procedure should consult their supervisor. Your personal laboratory safety depends mostly on YOU. Effort has been made to address situations that may pose a hazard in the lab but the information and instructions provided cannot be considered all-inclusive.
