Trimester 1
This module covers the principles of database design and implementation including relational theory, database development, conceptual and logical modeling, and use of SQL as a Definition, Manipulation, Control, Procedural and Transaction Language. Practical knowledge in database design will be provided as preliminary. The module also provides practical skills in Client-Server and Web-enabled database application development with 4th generation languages like Java, Visual Basic 6/.Net, C#, Delphi and Others through connectivity standards like ODBC, JDBC, ADO .Net, DAO, RDO and others.
