Special Needs Education Provisions module seeks to lead the students to the background historical experiences that have guided the development of Special Needs Education towards Inclusive education. At the completion of the module, students should be equipped with knowledge related to the historical experiences of SNE development and trends towards Inclusive Education (IE); Special, ordinary, integrated and inclusive education and their development trends through history in Rwanda; East Africa and Western world; The national & international movements of PWD’s; Alternative learning and teaching opportunities in situations where disabilities and other SENs challenge the process; Development of alternative services and resource provision for people with Disabilities and other SEN’s in education and communities.
