Training Course for Coaching 

This course Training course for Coaching with aims to equip you with basic skills to use and facilitate you to navigate easily on the Moodle Platform for the University of Rwanda.

This module aims to guide all UR students who are using e-learning where you will be introduced to the basics of participating in an online course or as part of your regular class. The actual appearance on screen is governed by settings on your own computer plus what courses you are enrolled in, and as a result what you see may be slightly different from that shown in the examples.

Please follow the steps in the order shown until you have completed the sections on entering the course and basic navigation.

This training aims to implement a high profile Instructional Technology Programme that will create a critical
mass of educational innovation champions among UR students. The fellowship Programme will
result in tangible improvements in of the usability of all technologies used in learning at the University. The trained students who represent others will serve as a benchmark for their classes and they will guide/facilitates their classmates.

NB: To be enrolled in this module, students will use their group name as their enrollment key. (If you are in group1, your enrollment key is Group1)

Since the University of Rwanda has embarked on the move to adopt the blended learning mode in teaching, learning and assessment approach, there has been seamless effort in order to upload modules on the UR eLearning platform. However, it was observed that there is a need to improve their quality by adopting a common blended learning module template where they meet the quality assurance standards for Open and Distance eLearning ( ODeL).

It is against this backdrop that the University of Rwanda has organized, at all Campuses, a series of Training Workshops for all its academic staff on Accelerated Uploading of Modules on UR eLearning Platform.

This module was designed to offer guides to all required elements in a given module.

"This will be a results-oriented training (trainees will have to successfully and demonstrably include instructional activities (e-tivities) in their respective blended modules , the participants are Masters Program, ACEESD who are also lecturers. They will be doing the "Constructive alignment of learning outcomes, learning activities and learning resources" using their respectives modules. Other potential participants are lecturers who are not necessarily Masters Program, ACEESD but have been designated a course.
"This will be a results-oriented training (trainees will have to successfully and demonstrably include instructional activities (e-tivities) in their respective blended modules before they can help other UR lecturers to do so"In view of this, the participants are ODeL champions who are also lecturers. They will be doing the "Constructive alignment of learning outcomes, learning activities and learning resourcesusing their respectives modules. Other potential participants are lecturers who are not necessarily ODeL champions but have been designated to replace an ODeL champion or a college DTLE for example.

Social and Military Sciences program from College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) of the University of Rwanda (UR) is organizing for its academic staff and students a training workshop on the use of electronic resources and software tools to enhance and easy data collection, data processing emphasizing on plagiarism prevention in research activities.

A training for two days was organised for the UR students at the Campus
