6. Brief description of aims and content (not more than five lines)
Designed to create competent physicians caring for critically ill patients with compassionate, appropriate, and effective care, this module develops the knowledge base including current and evolving biomedical, clinical and cognate sciences in Critical Care Medicine. The field of Critical Care Medicine is extremely broad and this module is designed to provide exposure to its breadth, allowing graduates to gain knowledge, skills, and best practices to care for patients in intensive care units.
