The manuals are designed for teachers learning English at beginner and
intermediate levels to enable them to acquire and develop English language
knowledge and skills. More specifically, it is geared to helping them use
English for personal and professional needs in the Rwandan education
system and consequently, it is not only meant to address their academic
needs but also to enable them to use the language to talk about general
topics, and to communicate conversantly with other speakers of English.
