The course seeks to introduce to learners to fore front issues in the area of Global Marketing. This module assesses the nature and characteristics of international/global marketing activities. The aim of this module is to provide students with an understanding of the key dimensions of the international and global marketing environment from the perspective of a global marketing strategy. It should also provide learners with some analytical tools essential for choosing and making global market entry decisions; organizing and controlling global operations. The module incorporates the new body of knowledge on service internationalization and provides opportunities for group investigations and in-depth case analysis. Introduction to Information Technology (IT) Module requires the candidate to have an understanding of some of the main concepts of IT at a general level. The candidate is required to understand the make-up of a personal computer in terms of hardware and software and to understand some of the concepts of Information Technology (IT) such as data storage and memory. The candidate shall also understand how information networks are used within computing and be aware of the uses of computer-based software applications in everyday life.
This course will show students how to develop an interactive website without using predesigned Content Management Systems. Actually, students will develop their own CMSs.
Auditing module seeks to make the students acquaint themselves with the principles and practice of Auditing in general. It also seeks to impart them with the competencies necessary in applying the principles of auditing and internal control, and the ability to probe into the business transactions so as to determine whether or not the financial statements prepared from the accounting records present fair and true view of the entity's financial position.
The module also aims at making the students be familiar with auditing procedures as per the specifications provided by International Standards of Auditing (ISA) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
