The aim of this module is to develop awareness of ethical reasoning during OT client management. This module will acquaint learners with the OT process in simulation and clinical settings. Learners are introduced to concepts of self-reflective journaling and other types of report writing.
The aim of this module is to provide learners with a theoretical base about the clinical presentation and the general management of common conditions in clients including, intellectual disability and learning difficulties, in function of the preparation of an OT treatment plan. Learners acquire the skills OT’s need to plan, assess and treat clients.
The aim of this module is for Me to become acquainted with the occupational therapy profession, the paradigms, philosophies and the cyclical process that forms the basis of occupational therapy thinking and acting. Clinical and scientific reasoning using occupational therapy concepts and models is implemented. This knowledge is applied using a client oriented approach to cases within the different occupational therapy domains.
