In the final year of medical school, students will be asked to submit their dissertation as a core requirement for the completion of the last year.
Student needs to present their proposal to the rest of the group and their mentors and will be given feedback to improve their skills during the module.
In their final year, students will be required to get their IRB, collect data, analyze them and write a dissertation. They will have to defend their project via an oral presentation, which will be evaluated using a standardized form. There should be a mid-term submission of the progress report to their supervisors.
The written proposal will be evaluated based on standardized rubrics.
The dissertation will have to be submitted one month before sitting for final exam.
