Trimester I

In this module, students requires broad and extensive knowledge of the anatomical structures of the head and neck of the human body, their functions and learns to correlate that with clinical conditions involving these anatomical structures using systemic approaches.

Welcome to the module "Basic Pharmacology and Toxicology". This module is designed to expand on earlier knowledge of the basic sciences of pharmacology and Toxicology. The aim is to provide a balanced and comprehensive basis of pharmacology  it relates to the understanding of the mechanisms of drug action (Pharmacodynamics), disposition (Pharmacokinetics) and the basic concepts of clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. Through Online Interactive Tutorial in Pharmacology and interpretation of a Patient Information Leaflet (PIL), students will increase understanding of and develop the practical skills of evaluating the concepts in Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics. Structured exercises will be administered initiate students with pharmacokinetics calculations.

Welcome to the module "Biostatistics and Pharmaceutical calculations".You will learn statistical principles to solving problems in the medical field, and related disciplines. Further, this module will entail the basic mathematics applied to the preparation, safe , and effective use of pharmaceuticals.
