Trimester II

Firstly, this module familiarizes students with fundamental principles of structural organization of plant organisms at the cellular, tissue, organ and organismal levels; help them to evidentiate morpho-anatomical indicators for medicinal plants and vegetable products identification; obtain skills for preparation and description of microscopic preparations, identification and herborizing of medicinal plants, critical thinking in addressing basic plant knowledge application in pharmacy. The second part explores the basic concepts and practices of Traditional medicine to support healing and maintain health and the role of ethno-pharmacology.
