This module will equip nursing students with essential knowledge, skills and attitudes on reproductive processes, family planning, health promotion and disease prevention in relation to reproductive health issues and pathological conditions of women and provision of comprehensive safe care to women. This module will emphasize on social, economic, environmental, behavioral, and political factors that affect reproductive health, fertility, and pregnancy outcome.

This module intends to equip students with essential knowledge, skills and attitudes in research process, basic statistics applied to health and basis epidemiology principles. This will provide the students with ability to examine and apply evidence based information to guide clinical practice, health promotion and disease prevention.
This module is for Level 2 nursing and Midwifery students.
