This course encourages among students design thinking and innovation. It gives the students a deeper understanding of how design business operates, by learning each of the processes first hand. Students from any skill can be exposed to other disciplines like architecture and engineering, thus giving them ability to apply design thinking in all aspects of the design industry.
Students will be exposed to idea generation which is universal to every discipline. Emphasis will be put on visualizing ideas towards a level that favours design to come in and actualize creative ideas into innovations.

Introduction to Advertising
An advertisement (or "ad" for short) is anything that draws good attention
Advertising is a marketing communication that employs an openly sponsored, non-personal message to promote or sell a product, service or idea. Sponsors of advertising are typically businesses wishing to promote their products or services
Advertising is the business or act of making something known to the public, usually through some type of paid media.
The course aims on students understanding the internal process of designing landscapes and residential gardens and parks in particular. Furthermore, residential landscape design projects include the recognition and the involvement of architectural components as the residential houses and built-up facilities. In class assignments and projects are directly related to this field (outdoor facilities of housing complexes and private house gardens in any size).
The student will understand the meaning of murals, its purpose in the society. They differentiate between a big painting and murals. They will use available materials to produce a mosaic mural and a painted mural on a big canvas.
Dear Learners,
This module will help you start to gain the professional competence for digital modeling (including computer-based simulations), technical fabrication processes, 3D printing and/or physical prototyping (look-likes or work-likes). With focus on Prototyping/model making, you will be required to understand the design methods you need in order to develop innovative solutions that answer the potential customers’ needs and meet the design specification, starting from the creative phase of concept design up to the detailed design.
In other words, the emphasis in this module is on creativity, exploration, design thinking, solution finding, personal expression, aesthetics and creation of functional prototypes (work-likes, look-likes). Teaching includes lectures, demonstrations, studio sessions, workshops, individual and group works, group critiques, and hopefully some study visits. You will therefore learn a wide range of skills and processes using soft and hard materials to produce 3D models. Using a practical hands-on approach, this module will support you in the conception and early development of an innovation challenge, sketching and technical drawing, and production of the prototypes. Your devotion and application will be highly appreciated.
The aim of this unit is to provide the opportunity for students to become designer makers by exploring, at some depth, this specific craft in which they will use inspirational source material to design items of an advanced nature. The work will be based on a highly personal approach to innovative ideas and traditional techniques, requiring advanced practical skills in the creation of craft items.
Students will develop the ability to explore the craft and materials in new ways. A thorough knowledge of materials, processes and techniques will support and give an informed background to innovative practice.
Workbooks will record supporting knowledge – visual and written notes, sampled ideas and techniques where appropriate, diagrams and technical specifications on the development of design briefs, sources of inspiration, materials, processes and techniques.
Students evaluate the completed work, processes and techniques used, to inform future work.
In this studio-based course students will be given a good overview of the fashion industry and a foundation in a wide range of techniques. The course is a combination of structured teaching and informal workshop time. This basic design course encompasses the fashion design process from inspiration through ideation to production. Focus is on terminology, design elements and principles, the creative process of inspiration documentation and the ethical consideration in the fashion industry.
Welcome to craft course. It is a dimension of product design option. The crafts course is concerned with the manipulation of conventional or non-conventional materials to produce user friendly items which are functional or decorative in nature. You will explore various design materials available from the immediate environment.
